La nature des relations entretenues entre les groupes culturels, \u00e0 faible ou longue distance, la reconnaissance d\u2019influences, de contacts, d\u2019\u00e9changes \u00e0 travers la circulation des objets, des personnes et des id\u00e9es sont devenues des th\u00e8mes fr\u00e9quemment d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s par les pr\u00e9- et protohistoriens. Cette approche qui vise \u00e0 d\u00e9passer les limites et les fronti\u00e8res d\u00e9finies pour chaque entit\u00e9 culturelle, a constitu\u00e9 l\u2019axe principal de ces troisi\u00e8mes Rencontres Nord-Sud de Pr\u00e9histoire r\u00e9cente. Les groupes humains du N\u00e9olithique et de l\u2019\u00e2ge du Bronze du nord-est de l\u2019Europe constituent des entit\u00e9s plus ou moins faciles \u00e0 d\u00e9finir dans le temps et l\u2019espace. Au contraire, les d\u00e9placements de biens, d\u2019id\u00e9es, les \u00e9changes au sens large sont autant de caract\u00e9ristiques que les recherches ont mis en lumi\u00e8re depuis plusieurs d\u00e9cennies. Ce constat n\u2019exclut pas pour autant la reconnaissance d\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9ments de p\u00e9rennit\u00e9 dans certains comportements, parfois sur le long terme, parfois au-del\u00e0 des limites chronologiques et culturelles.<\/p>\n

Un des enjeux de la recherche actuelle est donc d\u2019expliciter les liens entre les \u00e9l\u00e9ments de stabilit\u00e9 sur le temps long et les changements\/mobilit\u00e9s de tous ordres qui sont perceptibles dans l\u2019espace et dans le temps, quelle que soit l\u2019\u00e9chelle de raisonnement\u00a0: le village, le finage, les r\u00e9seaux r\u00e9gionaux et plus loin encore.<\/p>\n

Le projet des troisi\u00e8mes Rencontres Nord-Sud de Pr\u00e9histoire r\u00e9cente \u00e9tait donc de faire un point sur ces questions et d\u2019approfondir leur compr\u00e9hension sur l\u2019ensemble du territoire national mais aussi dans les pays limitrophes\u2009; et ce depuis le d\u00e9but du M\u00e9solithique, vers 9500 avant notre \u00e8re, jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la transition vers l\u2019\u00e2ge du Fer, autour de 800 avant notre \u00e8re.<\/p>\n

Circulation, \u00e9changes des objets et des id\u00e9es, mobilit\u00e9s, stabilit\u00e9s des personnes et des groupes durant la pr\u00e9-protohistoire en Europe occidentale, se sont tenues \u00e0 Lyon du 29 novembre au 1er<\/sup> d\u00e9cembre 2018.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The nature of the relations maintained between cultural groups, at short or long distance, the recognition of influences, contacts, exchanges through the circulation of objects, people and ideas have become themes frequently developed by pre- and protohistorians. This approach, which aims to go beyond the limits and boundaries defined for each cultural entity, was the main axis of these third North-South Meetings on Recent Prehistory. The human groups of the Neolithic and Bronze Age of North-East Europe constitute entities that are more or less easy to define in time and space. On the contrary, the movement of goods and ideas, and exchanges in the broadest sense, are all characteristics that research has highlighted for several decades. This observation does not exclude<\/em>
\nthe recognition of elements of permanence in certain behaviors, sometimes over the long term, sometimes beyond chronological and cultural limits.<\/em>
\nOne of the challenges of current research is therefore to clarify the links between the elements of stability over time and the changes\/mobilities of all kinds that are perceptible in space and time, whatever the scale of reasoning: the village, the finage, the regional networks and even further afield.<\/em>
\nThe project of the third North-South Encounters of Recent Prehistory was therefore to take stock of these questions and to deepen our understanding of them on the entire national territory, but also in neighboring countries, from the beginning of the Mesolithic period, around 9500 BCE, to the transition to the Iron Age, around 800 BCE.<\/em><\/p>\n

The third North-South Encounters of Recent Prehistory, entitled (Im)mobiles? Circulation, exchanges of objects and ideas, mobilities, stabilities of people and groups during pre-protohistory in Western Europe, were held in Lyon from November 29 to December 1, 2018.<\/em><\/p>\n
